Megan Campagnolo Snail Mail

Megan Campagnolo is the OG creativity, passion, personality, and maker behind much adored brand Rosehound Apparel. If you aren't familiar with the show Twin Peaks, I implore you to consider watching it right now. Old and new. Cancel your plans. Call in sick. Do what needs to be done. We'll be here waiting for you.

I first stumbled upon Rosehound becuase the brand blossomed from Megan's Ryerson grad project "Melancholy", a casual/contemporary Twin Peaks-themed collection. Like many brands, Rosehound's (much deserved) success was expedited thanks to the gasoline Instagram poured all over the "pin and patch game". Today her line of expanded products can be found in stores like Ban.doUrban Outfitters, and Dolls Kill.

Megan is a pro. She has Skills. It's apparent in the quality of Rosehound's products down to each handmade, hand-dyed, and personally embroidered detail. Unlike many in the pin and patch game, Megan knocks out her origional illustrations using a Brother PR655 embroidery machine (as shown in that super serious editorial photo with her Creative Director, Alexandra Auger in 2016). She could sew you a leather jacket! A ball gown! I guarantee they'd be sassy and cute, too!

Megan caters to “mischievous 1970s brats”. Her nostalgia rich line reminds us that everything which goes around eventually comes back around. I hope the same is true this throwback sweatshirt with hand-embroidered snack crumbs. GIMMIE! Her products come and go. Boy will you be sad to miss some of them (poker chips and kid's clothes?!). Bookmark the shop and keep those peepers peeped.
